In this section of my blog I am going to start listing some symbols that occur in dreams. Since symbols are a basis for determining what our dreams are telling us, they are one of the first things we consider when interpreting dreams. Using the Language of Mind as explained in my website, I will start explaining some symbols.
1. Alcohol:
By taking alcohol into the body, one is affecting the nervous system which causes a decrease in decision making, a lack of will, and problems with motor function control. This is the basic idea I take into determing what this symbol means in a dream.
There has been an interferance in the will of the dreamer. Examples would include-procrastination, inability to carry out a desire like quitting smoking, unable to stop an unhealthy relationship etc.
2. Bridge:
A bridge is a means to get from one place to another. So using the Language of Mind we can translate this to dream language.
There is an indication in that there has been a transition in life. A bridge represents how the dreamer is moving through life. The goals that the dreamer has helps these movements. Goals give a direction and can keep one on a path to use one's energies in a way that will help bring the goals to what is desired. Now you can get more out of the symbol if you can determine what shape the bridge is in. Is it shabby? Does it end going nowhere? Is it strong? These are ways to further look into the interpretation.
3. Church:
As with any building a church represents the mind. The church specifically is a place for worshiping a higher power with regards to spirituality. In the Universal Language of Mind it will represent this same function of seeking spirituality,
So if you dream of a church, think about the days before the dream and where your attention was. Determine how that church appeared in your dream and it will give you an idea of where you are in your thoughts on spirituality. How you value or do not value it will be revealed. Is it empty? Is it full? Is it plain, fancy, in need of repair? All this will give you a message from your subconscious.
4. Death:
In the Universal Language of mind Death means change. Physical life is temporary. When you die there is a change that happens allowing for the continuing of your soul progression. So for example if you dream that your husband dies. Since a spouse signifies aspect of yourself that has to do with commitment, this dream will have to do with the way you have changed regarding a commitment to yourself.
5. Eyes
Eyes that are predominant in a dream indicate perception. We receive information through our eyes every minute of the day. The catch is did we pay attention to the moments of our days. If you are looking but not paying attention or receiving the information then your dream may reflect that by blindness. If the eyes are clear and beautiful then that may show that the day before you had clear judgement and decisions were clear and obvious.
