 Interpreting Your Dreams

From the beginning of time humans have been intrigued with dreams. People such as shamans, priest, medicine men and women , healers, witch doctors etc. were the ones intrusted with interpreting dreams. However, we can interpret our own dreams with a little guidance. Dreams come from the subconscious, the soul, the part of us that will never lie to us. To understand our dreams is to understand our true selves.  Interpreting your dreams brings a harmony within yourself. You can begin to know your inner self. Your real desires and fears can be understood. Fear is that which is not known or understood. By interpreting your dreams, you will become more enlightened and this will bring about the harmony you seek. The following is a very simple outline of how to interpret your dreams. I have a common sense approach to dream interpretation.

  • Write your dream immediately. (Keep a dream journal.)

  • Make a list of the symbols in your dream.

  • Write down their meanings. (Using the Universal Language of Mind)

  • Determine the theme of your dream.

  • Determine the overall feel of your dream.

  • Interpret the dream to discover the message from your soul.

  • Relate it to the previous days before your dream.

Your attitude, thoughts, and actions - good or bad - directly affect your dreams.

Two basic rules of dream interpretation:

Every dream is about the dreamer.

Every person, place, or thing is the dreamer.
